Annapolis NOOD - Friday, April 24 through Sunday, April 26
On the first day of racing all fleets in Division 4 saw blue skies, warm sun, and a chilling 18 knot southeasterly wind which allowed for three great races with three boats getting the gun. Actually five boats took line honors out of six races in this ever competitive fleet. On the second day, the forecast was for high temperature and low wind, but luckily the breeze filled to about 12 knots later on. The fleet continued to crowd the starting line and after two general recalls, on Race 6, they managed to sqeeze in two races. The third day saw racing postponed while the competitors baked in the hot sun and the Race Committee located a steady wind to set a course. Finally one race was run, again after a general recall. Eleven boats registered and raced with the following provisional results:

NASS Spring Race - Sunday, April 19
Congratulations to Bad Company for starting the 2009 season with a BANG by getting the gun on the first race of the year. Maggie also put on an impressive show and won the day with the next generation on board. The weather cooperated for this year's NASS Spring Race and the J/35 Fleet was fortunate to have strong wind, of over 15 knots, for both races.
