The SCC Annual Regatta Is Next For The Local Fleet New this year, the J/35s have a One Design start for the SCC Annual Regatta and this event will count toward High Point. The local fleet will race on Sunday, May 18 with PHRF A0, PHRF A1, PHRF A2 and J/105s all on the course. The J/35s Came Out In Force For The Annapolis NOOD Regatta Twelve J/35s raced in the three day NOOD Regatta this year. Visiting boat, Mr. Bill's Wild Ride, took top honor in Annapolis with four bullets and a total score of 13 points. Charles Kohlerman's Medicine Man captured second with 28 points and Kevin McNeil's Frequent Flyer placed third with 29 points. Peter Scheidt's Maggie racked up 34 point and fourth place. Jim Sagerholm and Jerry Christofel's Aunt Jean had the other three bullets in the regatta, but only placed fifth. Ted Lepich's Tiamat had 41 points and sixth place, rounding out the top half of the fleet. Other finishers were Dakota Girl, WINDEPENDENT, Rebel Yell, T-Bone and Ballyhoo. NASS Opened The 2008 Racing Season Jim Sagerholm and Jerry Christofel led their crew onboard Aunt Jean to first overall with two bullets on Sunday, April 13 in the 2008 NASS Spring Race. Ted Lepich's Tiamat came in second, followed by Stephanie Reuer's Dakota Girl who won a tie breaker to claim third. The rest of the competitors finished as listed; Maggie, Ballyhoo, Rebel Yell, T-Bone and WINDEPENDENT. Please go to the NASS site for complete results.
